The 31-year-old was substituted in the 63rd minute just four minutes before Grealish’s goal and this summed up how his frustrations this season, making 25 outings and netting only once.
After the game, Aston Villa fans took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the former Middleborough attacker.
Harry Johnson tweeted, “Adomah you are awful”, Mark swain said “Had no idea Adomah was on the pitch,” Paul Hemming added that, “Adomah so bad.”
Some of the fans predicted his substitutions which surely happened. “Alex Berwick McGinn for Adomah or El Ghazi for me would be the change here. Adomah not involved at all”. Nigel Gisbourne said “Need Mcginn on to take control of the midfield Adomah done nothing.”
