Here are seven ways to fit in shape without having to hit the gym.

  • Stay in bed

Just a good excuse to spend more hours in bed. You need those seven to nine hours every night to keep you energized throughout the day and during your workout.

  • Change your commute

Save money while burning some fats. Ride your bike or walk for a greater portion or all of your commute.

This will help burn calories and keep you off public transportation for as long as possible.

  • Multitask the mundane

You can always sneak in some exercise while executing your daily task.  Move through this two-minute workout you can do while brushing your teeth or show off your killer dance moves while applying a cream on your body.

  • Stick to 10s

Make a conscious effort and try 10 push-ups and 10 sit-ups every day and you won’t regret.

  • Stand up at least every hour

Sitting all day is bad for your health. Let’s this, set an alarm on phone to alert you to get up at least once an hour – visit the washroom and have a chitchat with your colleagues.

  • Walk for at least 20 minutes a day

20 minutes a day to promote your general well-being is the least you can do for yourself. You can use this time to chat with your neighbors and lend a helping hand to others.
