Accra Hearts of Oak attacker, Cosmos Dauda says the criticism by some fans, considering his output this season, will only motivate him, hinting he will come out stronger in order to help the club progress.
The marksman was impressive when he came on late in the game on Sunday to replace Alex Kouassi, in their 1-0 win against arch-rivals Kotoko on match day eight of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The top scorer for Hearts last season has been heavily criticised by fans due to his dip in form in this season.
According to the prolific striker, he understands the frustration of some fans considering his performance in this season’s league, adding that, it serves as an inspiration for him to do better and come out stronger for the team.
“I feel football has a lot of sides and, as a player, this is part of what makes you grow. Criticism is part of the game but, it depends on how you take it, I know many people are disappointed with my output this season but it can only motivate me to come out stronger than before.
“Apart from that, I feel it’s a progressive part of my career and hopefully, I will turn things around,” Dauda said in an interview.
