Former Aduana Stars coach Cioba Aristica is now head coach of Tanzanian giants Azam FC.
The Tanzanian giants settled on the Romanian on Tuesday after long search for a coach following the dismissal of Spaniard Zeben Hernández.
“I know Azam FC is one of the great teams with a rich history , I would be grateful for the leadership for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to come and coach in this country, to the fans I would tell them that I have knowledge in the African game, I have coached in Ghana which I did well,” Cioba told the club’s website.
Cioba last season in the Ghana Premier League guided Aduana Stars to the second position on the log sheet, but he mutually terminated his contract with Dormaa based side prior to the club’s pre-season preparation for the 2017 Ghana Premier League.
Azam FC have four players from Ghana in their squad – they are Samuel Afful, Bernard Ofori, Yaya Mohammed and Enoch Atta Agyei.
